Election 2021

In just over one week we will head to the polls.  Not since perhaps 2009/2010 have the stakes been this high, in terms of the number of vacancies to be filled.  Five Council seats and the Mayor position are up for election, and for the first time in recent history, maybe ever, we will vote to elect a Constable.

Incumbents Scott Hollern, Joe Lazzaro and Shaun Nemeth will be on the ballot for Council.  Because Joe was an appointee when Lynn Shimer moved away, he will be on the ballot for both a 2-year 'replacement' term (the remainder of Lynn's term) and he has chosen to seek a full 4-year term, vying for one of the two vacancies.  If he wins both, he will have his choice.

Pam Tadken will be on the ballot as the other candidate for the 2-year 'replacement' term.  John Byrne and Gavin Guarino have mounted write-in campaigns for Council as well.
