Getting Ready for Our 12th Season!

The Center for the Arts at the Armory is excited to announce that the Somerville Winter Farmers Market is coming back for its 12th season! This weekly market offers the best locally grown and regionally produced agricultural items including vegetable produce, cheese, eggs, meats, fish, breads, pastries, and chocolate.

This season, the market will return to what it looked like in previous years -- indoor, with live in-person shopping. Individual vendors may offer pre-order options, but there will be no market-organized pre-order system and no curbside pick up this year. We will have live music provided by local musicians along with both an outdoor and indoor seating area provided by our ROOTED cafe.

The health of our community is our utmost concern. Proof of vaccination will not be required to enter the market, but all individuals are required to wear a mask the entire time they are inside the Armory. We will follow a strict indoor capacity limit with one entrance (through the main floor hallway) and one exit (through the mezzanine). Certain vendors may offer sampling, but aside from sampling, no food or beverages are allowed to be consumed inside the market.

We look forward to seeing you in December!! If you have questions, concerns, encouragement, or feedback for the market, please email us at
