April 27, 2021

Dear Neighbor,

My office is offering COVID-19 vaccinations Thursday, April 29th at the Mayfair Salvation Army from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This clinic is open to anyone 16 and older who wants to get a COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of their insurance or immigration status. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered. You can register for your appointment here

Please contact my office at 773.736.5594 or Ward39@CityofChicago.org if you have questions or need help scheduling an appointment.

Thank you to all the neighbors who participated in the 39th Ward Clean and Green last Saturday morning. From picking up litter to refreshing landscaping in our greenspaces, it was great to join community groups from across the Ward for some spring cleaning.

Construction season is here in Chicago. From street repaving, water and sewer pipe replacement, utility work, and other projects, the 39th Ward has major infrastructure improvements happening this spring and summer.

ChiStreetWork is the City of Chicago's infrastructure map portal that can tell you about the work that is happening on your block and around the neighborhood. You can see project start and end dates, scopes of work, and permits by entering your address. Click here to enter your address. The ChiStreetWork is hosted by the Chicago Department of Transportation, based on city agencies' data and that of private utilities.

The 39th Ward Public Service Office is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. While the office is open for walk-ins, appointments are encouraged. You can schedule an appointment by calling or emailing our office. Should you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact us via phone at 773.736.5594 or email Ward39@CityOfChicago.org.

Very truly yours,

Alderman Samantha Nugent
