Snow Leopard Photo Expedition 2020

Join an expedition that offers a rare opportunity to spot and photograph the world’s rarest big cat, the Snow Leopard. In conjunction with the same guides and trackers as BBC’s Planet Earth II, this tour takes you into the heart of the Himalayan Mountains, which supports the world’s highest concentration of Snow Leopards.

We’ll explore Hemis National Park on daily treks with our expert spotters as we track these Ghosts of the Mountain. Coupled with the unspoilt scenery of the park’s natural contours and jagged peaks, this once-in-a-lifetime trip is sure to be awe inspiring and unforgettable for any adventure photographer.

Why this Snow Leopard Photo Expedition is for you

  • Location – Our photography expedition takes place in Hemis National Park in Ladakh which is home to the highest concentrations of Snow Leopard.

  • Time of Year – The photo safari takes place at the winter when Snow Leopards are known to move down from the high reaches of the Ladkah mountains to lower altitudes in search of prey.

  • Experienced Team – We will use the same guides and trackers from the BBC’s Planet Earth II film crew by utilising their expert local knowledge and extensive experience to track these big cats.

  • Exquisite Landscapes – The combination of Hemis National Park’s unspoilt and exotic landscape with the natural drama of Ladakh’s Ulley Valley will make you feel like you are on top of the world, literally!
