2019 Library Improvement & Innovation Grant Purchase


The Farnsworth Public Library is now lending Playaway Launchpads. These 12 Launchpads are preloaded, secure children’s learning tablets, with themed reading, spelling, and vocabulary apps designed to support early literacy.

If your library received grants from NFLS this year - whether it was the Library & Innovation grant, Youth Services grant or Collection Development grant - simply reply to this email with photos and short descriptions of how they were used so we can help spread the news.

2020 Census Resources at @ WVLS

The Wisconsin Valley Library Service started a 2020 Census page on its website. It has resources, social media shares, and a timeline. The page will be added to as more information becomes available. Feel free to use these resources in your library!

Voices of Women in America: Survey Due January 31, 2020

Please consider participating in the Voices of Women in America Survey conducted by the National Association of Commissions for Women. Your opinion is very valuable and important to us.

The survey is designed to identify important issues in our communities that impact women's daily lives at home and in the workplace.  The association will use your feedback to focus its outreach projects on the issues that matter most to women in the United States.
