RB Digital Audiobooks Move to Libby/OverDrive

This week, our RB Digital Audiobook collection moved to the Libby/OverDrive platform. For now, the RB Digital Magazine collection will remain on the RB Digital platform and app. Click here to learn more about this transition.

Government Information Day Goes Virtual

From WI Libraries for Everyone:

"You’re invited to Wisconsin’s Government Information Day on Friday, November 13, 2020, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. This year's conference is free to all who are interested and will be held online via GoToMeeting.

Sessions include:

  • The political context of the 2020 Census with Dr. Margo Anderson, emeritus professor of history at UW-Milwaukee
  • Census data tools with trainers from the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce
  • Legal reference with Carol Hassler, Wisconsin State Law Library
  • Open discussion about COVID-19 and its impact on our libraries
  • And updates from Wisconsin state and federal depository librarians!"

Science Kits for Public Libraries Grant Opportunity


The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)- Region 4 Science Kits for Public Libraries (SKPL) Grant project is offering up to $2,000 in funding to public libraries located within Region 4 to start a circulating collection of science kits.

Magic Village Shows: Magician & Ventriloquist

Magician and ventriloquist Kelvin Saline is looking forward to summer 2021. Safety precautions are in place and the families are enjoying this magic and ventriloquism show. They are laughing, gasping, and having a TON OF FUN, just like families have done at his shows for the past 50 years.

It's not a mystery... Nancy Drew 90th Anniversary. An exclusive virtual streaming celebration.
This year, Nancy Drew is celebrating 90 years of adventure, mysteries, and empowerment of generations of girls and young readers!

The celebration will stream to libraries and museums across the country from April 28, 2021 and continue through Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021.

The booking deadline is NOVEMBER 30, 2020. Reservations are limited and access is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
