WLA News Summer 2022 Issue


The Summer 2022 issue of the WLA News (Information from the Wisconsin Library Association) was emailed to members on July 29th.

Be sure you don't miss Malicious social engineering scams pretend to support local libraries on page 16, which talks about "reports of Wisconsin citizens receiving puzzling email solicitations purporting to originate from political organizations suggesting their specific local library needed public support to counteract unspecified challenges to library materials and requesting participation in a poll or survey."

Library Leadership Your Way by Jason Martin chosen for summer/fall ARSL Professional Development Book Club 

 

The ARSL Continuing Education Committee announced its reading selection for the Summer/Fall ARSL Professional Development Book Club: Library Leadership Your Way by Jason Martin. They look forward to hosting an in-person discussion of this title at the ARSL Conference next month in Chattanooga, TN. All conference attendees are welcome to attend.

Where: Chattanooga Convention Center, Chattanooga, TN

Advance registration for in-person attendance and preconference workshops will close on September 7, 2022.

Virtual attendance registration will be available through September 17.

On-site registration for in-person attendance and pre-conference workshops will be available in Chattanooga.
