Wisconsin Trustee Training Week
August 12 - 16, 2019

As Wisconsin Trustee Training Week approaches, we'd like to pass on a few reminders about this important event. Please pass this information on to anyone you feel should attend:
  • Wisconsin Trustee Training Week is a series of five webinars taking place from noon to 1pm each day.
  • All library board trustees, directors, library staff, volunteers, and Friends group members are welcome. 
  • Participants are welcome to watch webinars at the NFLS Office - please call 920-448-4410 to let us know you're coming.
  • There is no charge to attend, and all webinars will be recorded.
  • Contact hours for continuing education toward public librarian re-certification: 1 per webinar.

BadgerLink Advisory Group: Call For Applicants

The BadgerLink team seeks applicants to participate in the BadgerLink Advisory Group. This group seeks to improve the ability of all Wisconsin residents to access and effectively use high-quality, licensed resources provided by BadgerLink, expand program visibility, and build stronger relationships between the program and stakeholders.

Applications will close at the end of the day on August 16, 2019, with review and selection finalized on or before September 15, 2019.

Inclusive Services Assessment and Guide

The Inclusive Services Assessment and Guide for Wisconsin Public Libraries was recently produced by the Wisconsin DPI Public Library Development Team and the participants in the 2018 Inclusive Services Institute.

This publication aims to foster inclusive library environments where everyone is safe, welcomed, and respected.


Part-Time Children's Librarian Wanted at Marion Public Library

The Marion Public Library is seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to fill a part-time Children’s Librarian position.

Hours include weekdays with some early evenings.  Position open until filled.
