Iron Range Renewal Sunday Option: "You are invited to the Iron Range Renewal All Church Service Sunday 9/4 11am-1pm at the Minnesota Discovery Center Amphitheater! Fellowship begins at 10 am with coffee, and worship service begins at 11:00 am. We are praying into this service to lift God's Name high as we honor Him through worshiping together in unity and truth! Rain or Shine." Rockwell Church will still be meeting at 10:15am this Sunday for worship and communion to serve those that choose not to drive to Chisholm for that event.

Kids Awana Kick Off is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21. There will be an Awana Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday, September 7 @ 6 pm for those interested in working with Awana or have already committed to volunteering.

Women’s Adult Sunday School Class: Are you up for an adventure? Join Roberta and Amy as we journey through the “Prayer of Jabez” by Bruce Wilkinson. See what God has for you individually and for Rockwell. On September 18th join us for 9 weeks as we discover how the remarkable prayer of a little-known Bible hero released God’s favor, power, and protection. Please let Amy, Roberta, Jo-Anne, or Tracey know if you are interested.

A Mixed Sunday School Class entitled “A Contrarian’s Guide to Knowing God” will begin on September 18th. Teachers: Tim Madlo and Chris Teien. (we changed topics from the Beatitudes to this one)

There will be a church-wide potluck on Sunday, September 11, after the Fall Sunday School Kick Off. Those attending please bring a salad and a dessert. Hot dogs and sloppy joes will be provided by the church.

A special Thank You to all those who worked so hard to put on a very successful Corn Feed this year. Over 350 people were served lunch and 204 back packs were given out! Many pictures on the Rockwell Church Chat private Facebook page. Contact staff@rockwell.church if you would like to get an invitation into that Facebook group.

Serve Team at Trout Lake Camps. Upcoming Sept. 26-29 help Trout prepare for fall and winter ministry by cleaning, organizing, and building with whatever skills you have. Our serve team volunteers have always been a foundation at Trout Lake Camp. Mark & Kim Welly will be your hosts for this event. To register or for more info contact Trout at 218-543-4565.
