WE KICKED 2020 OFF WITH A BANG! On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Fabio hosted the first 2020 business networking event at the Empire Rooftop (across from Lincoln Center). As you entered the lounge, you felt like you were entering Fabio's living room because he greeted you with a warm smile and a handshake or a hug. You knew you were welcomed. The milieu was perfect for networking and making new connections. Lavoro eccellente, Fabio!
HANS MARQUI'S WEALTH TIP - What is your FICO score? A FICO score, aka a credit score, is a decision-making tool that lenders use to determine how likely you are to repay a loan on time. Having a good (670-739) or very good (740-799) score can qualify you for better interest rates and more opportunities. Your FICO score is determined by 1. your payment history for loans and credit cards (including late payments); 2. the type, number and age of your credit accounts; 3. bankruptcy; 4. the number of credit accounts you’ve recently opened; 5. the number of inquiries for your credit report; and 6. your total debt-to-credit availability.  So know your FICO score and look for ways to improve your credit, so you can boost your score.
KATHI SILVANE'S HEALTH TIP - A worthy goal for 2020 is to try to reduce your sugar consumption.  And, I get it.  Who doesn't enjoy donuts, cupcakes, ice cream or cake?  The truth of the matter is most of us consume too much sugarAccording to the University of California - San Francisco, on average Americans ingest 57 pounds of sugar annually(!!) Sugar comes in different forms such as corn syrup, high fructose, sucrose, or dextrose and can cause inflammation, diabetes, obesity and a litany of other problems for our bodies. Sugar often "hides" in processed foods, diet soda and "healthier foods" like granola and yogurt. So, read your labels and look for sugar substitutes like raw honey, stevia and xylitol. 😊
