February 2021

This February, we are bringing you a variety of presentations including Anxiety & Stress in the Time of COVID, Genetic Testing for Inherited Cancer Risk and Honoring Choices. We will also introduce another series of healthy recipes by Massey registered dietician Allie Farley. For the next 8 weeks, Allie will be focusing on crockpot cooking - easy, nutritious, comfort food to help us get through the cold winter days and nights! Kristie Willis, R.N., nurse manager for radiation oncology, will present a discussion about sexuality and body image after a cancer diagnosis. See below for details about date and time. Online weekly yoga classes take place every Monday at 5:30 pm and no experience is needed – if you’re interested in joining send an email to susan.chandler@vcuhealth.org. We hope you enjoy these events!

Massey does not endorse all integrative health practices. We only recommend those that are known to be safe and have the potential to improve health when used alongside, and never in place of, professional medical care. All cancer patients are advised to consult with their physician before starting any integrative health practice, as some may interfere with medical care. Please call (804) 828-8478 for more information about our Integrative Health program.
