Hello Friends,

Here we are, entering the last month of the year. Where did the time go?

When the News first broke about the pandemic and various infectious disease specialists predicted it would take at least eighteen months to two years before life would seem normal again, it felt like they were predicting an eternity. Yet here we are, life may not be “normal” but we’ve persevered through nine incredible months already!

We are stronger and more resilient than we know my friends, do not take this for granted. Let’s finish out this year with gratitude, for overcoming the challenges and a positive outlook for what might be ahead.

The Soulful Book Club members are just finishing their last week with our third book club selection, The Body Is Not An Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor.

Another great read, however this time we were challenged to take a deeper look into how we are showing up for ourselves and in turn for others. If you haven’t had an opportunity to read this book you should definitely consider it.

Two special dates to note;
Midweek Reset Thursday Dec 3, 8:00 - 8:30 pm for a special Metta meditation practice inspired by The Body Is Not An Apology and its notion of ‘radical self love’.

Sunday Dec 6, 7:30 - 9:00 pm for our book club chat  via Zoom. If you’ve read the book there is still time to join the conversation.

More Info
At the beginning of the pandemic I posted some of my free IG classes on my website as a way of providing more access for people to practice and move their bodies. After receiving several requests, I began working on a virtual library of classes and meditations that can be accessed whenever.

Stay tune for more information about the launch date, sliding scale rates and how your registration will benefit organizations doing antiracism work.
