Dear Deco-Tec Community,

I would like to Introduce myself. My name is Amanda Boss and I am the new Deco-Tec Board President. I know many of you have known me a very long time. But for those of you who do not I'd like to tell you a little about myself.

I made my Deco-Tec at 14 (#49) about 24 years ago. I joined the board shortly after my first weekend and have held many positions on the board over the years. It is an honor and a gift to be able to serve as your board President again. This movement has been close to my heart for most of my life. I have worked around 20 weekends and each one has been a gift and taught me something new about God every time.
Deco-Tec #117 gave me a whole new perspective as my son made his first weekend. How amazing it was to watch him join this movement it has blessed me in so many ways.

I would encourage each of you to think about ways you can help keep Deco-Tec alive. Our teens need Christ more than ever and we have to be his hands and feet to show them His Love. A large part of supporting this movement is as easy as showing up. Showing up to Holy Hour, the Hoot, serving meals, coming to church on Sunday, giving Wheat and joining the board. I would love to see all your faces and reconnect with you.

Deco-Tec is an amazing blessing that God has given us and I am so thankful for all the ways it has changed my life and this community.

In his name,
Amanda Boss
Board President

May 2020

Deco Tec Community,

My name Kristy Miles and I sit on the Board of Deco Tec in the Treasurer’s position. I would like to share my heart but, also where we stand as a board financially. As I am sure you are all aware as weeks go by the bills and expenses still occur month after month. With Covid-19 it has delayed holding weekends. The money that comes in from our weekends is what pays our bills. We have some bills coming due our Insurance/Liability Bill, our CCLI License and miscellaneous expenses to hold weekends.

Deco Tec is a ministry that has changed our future generation, it has brought our teens to the knowledge of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. I believe in this ministry it has been a significant ministry in my family. We as a board want to keep this ministry alive and moving. We come to you to share that we have a need. We ask as a board if you would prayerfully consider making a donation of any size. All donations are tax deductible.

I thank you for your time and hearing our need. Please mail your donations to the address below and make checks payable to Deco-Tec. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me.

In His Service,
Kristy Miles

Hello TEC Community,

I wanted to share some Scripture that I've been reading. These Scriptures are helping me to get through these tough times. I am looking forward to hearing when we gather together again all the amazing things that God is doing in your life. This is a reminder to our family in Christ Jesus, as Paul states one of God's promise's.

Romans 8.28-39
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen and Amen.

Pastor Pat
