The Weekly: November 12, 2020

We made some t-shirts!
They're soft and printed locally by our neighbors at Cat Head Press. And not unlike this fantastic scene from Almost Famous, our T-shirts let you say (presumably) everything you want to say: you love film, you have excellent taste, and you support art & local business in the city of Indianapolis. Or at least one of your friends does.

It's a very limited quality debut collection, so get it while the gettin's good. Your purchases really help support the work, the staff, and the mission of the Kan-Kan. Bonus: you'll be able to easily identify fellow Kan-Kan fan in their t-shirts around town. (You know, like a Jeep wave but for arthouse cinemas)

Spread some kindness (from a distance, yikes), take some deep breaths, and have a great week everyone.

The Virtual Cinema Heard 'Round The World

Maybe it is, we don't know where you're reading this from. Kan-Kan On-Demand pairs well with evenings, weekend afternoons, and all moments of boredom.

Having trouble accessing or streaming an On Demand movie? You can reach out to Kan-Kan staff professional problem solver, Abby Specht with any virtual cinema questions or concerns. Drop her a line:

50% of all purchases go directly to support the Kan-Kan (go team!!!) and the non-profit Indianapolis Film Project. We deeply appreciate your support.

NEW to Kan-Kan On-Demand

Kit (Henry Golding) returns to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time since he was six years old when his family fled the country in the aftermath of the Vietnam-American war. Struggling to make sense of himself in a city he's no longer familiar with, he embarks on a personal journey across the country that opens up the possibility for friendship, love and happiness.

Support Local!

Want to support the coolest, closed-est theater in town but aren't interested in merch? (maybe you only wear muumuus, idk) Gift cards for future visits (Kan-Kan or Brasserie!) are also available. Or hey, make a donation

Every little bit helps out the Indianapolis Film Project, the engine that powers the (currently virtual) Kan-Kan and our staff. Your contributions means the world to us. We cannot wait to welcome you to our corner of Windsor Park, and really appreciate your support and attention while we wait.
