SPA GENERAL MEETING

This is the first time we will be having the meeting via Zoom. Our agenda includes discussion of activities and committees for next year, and a discussion on the election of the SPA Board. The agenda is posted here.

SPA has created a YouTube channel to give our children the opportunity to see their classmates and teachers. The channel is unlisted, meaning that no one can find it unless they have a direct link to it.
We've had teachers, parents, and kids submit videos on science, art, games, and pets! We also have daily videos from SPA to kick off your day!
You can submit a video too! We have created a video submission portal to simplify the process. No special equipment is needed: just your cell phone and creativity!

Poetry Month 30-day Challenge
Ms Libbe is challenging our Stanton community to create beautiful poetry. Check out the instructions to this challenge on this website.
If you participate 100%, you will earn a $5.00 off gift certificate to spend at the Fall Scholastic Book Fair! To qualify, email a copy of each activity to Ms. Libbe by May 4: plibbe@cv.k12.ca.us. Make sure to include your name, teacher's name, grade, activity title and date, and that you have given permission to post your creation on the website.

Brighten Our Community with a Stanton Star
We're all staying home to keep our neighbors, friends, and family safe. SPA would like to encourage Stanton families to make Stars and share them on their lawns or windows. Write encouraging chalk art on your driveways or post signs.
Take your kids out for a walk so that they can see all the signs and stars. Take pictures and share them on our Facebook Page!
