Your One-Stop Holiday Essential: Harveys Bristol Cream
|

Not to be confused with a ‘cream liqueur’, Harveys Bristol Cream is an amber colored, semi sweet, fortified Sherry wine from the Jerez region of Spain. It is a white wine despite its amber color. When we talk about Sherries, cream is a style of Sherry that is in between dry styles known as Fino and the very sweetest style called PX.The flavors in Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry are taffy apple, baked apples, nutty, plum and raisins. This taste profile makes it a crowd pleaser. Harveys Bristol Cream is the number one selling Sherry worldwide and in the United States! Click here for more about Harveys Bristol Cream!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jenelle Bonifield, an award winning photographer, on a recent trip to Scottsdale! Jenelle welcomed me to Arizona and we became fast friends. I asked her to sit down for a Q&A so I could learn more about Arizona's wine region, her history and her beautiful a coffee-table book, AZ Uncorked, The Arizona Wine Guide
About Jenelle Bonifield: A photographer and designer based in metropolitan Phoenix, Jenelle Bonifield loves to roam throughout Arizona’s wine regions capturing images of vineyards and winemaking. With a background in graphic design and motion graphics, Bonifield always enjoyed photography and became a professional photographer as a second career specializing in farm-to-table images. As a wine lover, her interest in Arizona wine began in 2008 when her friends launched a vineyard and winery in the foothills of the Chiricahua Mountains in southeastern Arizona, LDV Winery.

As the holiday season fast approaches, here's an oldie but goodie article about dessert pairings and surviving the holiday commentary! These pairings are in no shape or form to attempt to answer or “cure” family dynamics, but adding a little lightheartedness to weeks of holiday prep and cooking rituals seemed like one way to spark some joy. As always it isn’t a definitive list either or an end-all formula for pairing wines with dessert pies. If you have your own two cents, do share! We would love to hear.
