Welcome to the Senderos Newsletter (Part 2)
Introducing Exciting New Partners in Costa Rica and Ecuador

Following on from our Autumn Newsletter (Part 1) where we launched our newest partners Villa Bom Jardin and Loft Bom Jardin in Brazil, we would love to introduce you to two further new partners who have joined the Senderos family.  Namely, the beautiful hotel and coffee farm Finca Rosa Blanca in Costa Rica and the renowned Manatee and Anakonda vessels with Anakonda Amazon Cruises in Ecuador.

Last month we sent out Senderos Partners' availability over Christmas and New Year. Many still have space available, so please let us know if you'd like an update for any properties or boats.

If you have any questions or would like more information about any news we feature below, please get in touch ( or as ever ask your DMC.

Warm and festive wishes from Nicola, Naomi, Simon & Gareth.
Finca Rosa Blanca is a wonderful choice for visitors transiting through Costa Rica's capital, San Jose and looking for something special. Located just 20 minutes drive from the airport, the hotel boasts expansive views over the lush valley and across to the sparkling lights of the city.

The property is home to 30 acres of rich soil and shade-grown, high-altitude organic coffee trees. Any stay at the hotel should include a tour around the farm and a special tasting of their exceptional coffee, especially as the forest is also home to over 137 bird species for budding ornithologists! They are also rightly heralded for their sustainability credentials, with the owners working hard to ensure they live and work in harmony with their environment.

The hotel's renowned El Tigre restaurant is run by chef Kevin Charpentier - a culinary historian and food philosopher who brings an innovative touch to the menu which produces creative dishes made with organic local ingredients. See more of his work here on his instagram account

The luxury Anakonda and Manatee vessels, owned and run by Anakonda Amazon Cruises, navigate stretches of pristine river in the upper Amazon basin. On their 4, 5 and 8 day itineraries they explore deep into the Ecuadorian Amazon and can visit up to 4 protected areas - Yasuni, Cuyabeno Reserve, Limoncocha and Pañacocha Biological Corridor - and as the operation involves 15 communities of the Napo, guests connect with the human inhabitants as well as the wildlife.

The Anakonda has capacity for 40 guests while the Manatee has capacity for 30, with both offering world class service and experiences on and off board with expert naturalist guides. The Anakonda has a more classic feel, with an additional concierge services and a la carte dining menus.

We're also thrilled to announce that Anakonda Cruises and the Manatee Ship (only ship of the two to operate this year) have just received two fantastic accolades from the World Travel Awards:
Best River Cruise Line in Latin America and Latin America's Best River Cruise Ship
