Apply to be a BME Success Advocate for 20/21


Would you like to join the BME Success Advocates team for 2020/21 academic year and be paid £9.50 an hour to work in partnership with students and staff at the university?
The purpose of the role is to understand the challenges faced by BAME students and to co-create and deliver a programme of activities that empower students, reflect minority voices and raise awareness.

Opportunity Bristol 2021 Funding Scheme
The University’s Opportunity Bristol 2021 funding scheme is now open. Opportunity Bristol provides financial support for UK nationals with Home fee status from Black or mixed Black heritage backgrounds in the transition from undergraduate to PhD level study. 
Funding is available for all MRes, Mphil and MScR programmes as well as a selection of MSc programmes. For more information, see here. 
Deadline: application for an eligible programme by 31 May 2021 

University of Bristol School of Geography PhD Scholarship

The School of Geography is welcoming applications for the Liv Sidse Jansen Studentship for BME students for a fully-funded three-year PhD studentship in human geography, beginning September 2021.

Lightbox Theatre
Lightbox Theatre is seeking a versatile and experienced drama workshop facilitator to plan and deliver weekly drama workshops for young people in St Paul’s, Bristol in early summer. The Facilitator will deliver a 6 week drama course for young people aged 14-19 years from w/c 7th June – w/c 12th July 2021.
