__  October In Retrospect
October has been quite the month!

Brushes seemed to have never left the canvas with our artists doing what they do best.

3 of our resident artists became Brisbane Portrait Prize Finalists, with Principal Artist, Birrunga Wiradyuri, taking out the Packer's Prize.

Just before the month ended, Birrunga also became recognised as a semi-finalist for the nationally renowned award, The Moran Portrait Prize!

We're incredibly proud of these are big achievements, especially coming out of a completely independent and Indigenous art gallery.

Our Cultural Creative Development Program has served as a great platform for emerging Indigenous artists - pushing the boundaries of Indigenous art under Birrunga's mentorship and guidance.

Of course, none of this would've been possible without your ongoing support and patronage, so we thank you for sticking by us.

Our artists have got several things on the horizon since, and we can't wait to share it all with you!
__  Madhu Ngiyang Now Open to Public

Our latest exhibition is now publicly open for all eyes to see.

Featuring artworks by our resident artists, Birrunga Wiradyuri, Kane Brunjes, Stevie O'Chin, and new addition to the roster, Wellborn.

While you can view the full exhibition catalogue on our website, the intricate detail in each artwork is something best seen in person.

Make sure to take some time out this holiday season and see the exhibition in its entirety!

After some restriction-related delays, the Princess Theatre has now officially opened just over the weekend.

The newly restored theatre is a welcomed addition to Woolloongabba's emerging entertainment precinct and we're glad to have (literally) left our mark on Brisbane's newest home for live music and performing arts.

You can find our mural in the laneway dubbed as 'Jester's Courtyard'
