FIRST Robotics Competition
September 2019 Update

New 2020 Carleton University FRC Event!

FIRST Robotics Canada is proud to partner with Carleton University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design to bring a FIRST Robotics Competition to the Nation’s Capital City: Ottawa! With the generous support of exclusive presenting sponsor General Dynamics, Carleton University will host its inaugural FIRST Robotics Competition from March 13th – 15th, 2020 – the first of its kind in this region.

Not only will teams get to enjoy the beautiful city of Ottawa and tour Carleton University’s campus, you will have the opportunity to meet Carleton staff, faculty and friendly FIRST ambassadors who you may recognize as key FIRST volunteers. For rest, relaxation and fun, Carleton will host a Team Social Space on Friday, March 13th from 2 pm – 9 pm with games and a free pizza dinner. On Saturday, teams are welcome to enjoy this space as a Team Lounge where you can watch a live feed of the competition.

Project Green!

Just like FIRST staffer Annika Pint (pictured above), be a force for change in your community! Join FIRST teams in a nation-wide community cleanup on Saturday, October 5, 2019 to help make your neighbourhood a cleaner and healthier one in which to work, live and play. Participants from any FIRST program will be eligible to win one of three Eco-friendly Prize Packs for their team.
