Special:  10 free guest passes to "Diversity Dilemmas in Coaching and Supervision" Online Discussion Group
Dear colleagues: I will be doing a session for the Association for Coaching in Australia and got the opportunity to invite up to 10 colleagues. Are you interested and available next Monday, September 16 at 4:30 PM PST?

Description of the topic
This highly interactive session “Diversity Dilemmas in Supervision” will explore how to navigate politically correctness, authenticity and unconscious bias in supervision sessions.
The session will begin with an overview of current and future dilemmas based on Chapter 3, “Diversity and Inclusion in Coaching Supervision” by Judy Ryde, Lily Seto and Damian Goldvarg in the book The Heart of Coaching Supervision Edited by Eve Turner and Stephen Palmer.
Following Damian Goldvarg’s overview, there will be an online live discussion that will provide participants the opportunity to discuss and differentiate personal power from role power and political power and explore values and assumptions in supervision.
This webinar will provide
  • An overview of current and future diversity issues in coaching supervision
  • Insights from fellow coaching supervisors on dealing with diversity dilemmas
  • An opportunity for you to raise questions and discuss any diversity challenges you have faced in coaching supervision.

Title: "Tuning in to Trauma in the Supervision Space"
As coaching supervisors, we may ask our clients to move out of their heads and tune into their senses.  The body, heart, and gut are great sources of data and somatics is an increasingly popular aspect of Coaching and Supervision.  While well-intentioned, somatic work can also come with some unintended consequences: What happens if a supervisee is struggling with trauma and can't feel their body? Or if paying attention to their body triggers unintended dysregulation and pain? In this interactive session, we will examine how to safely offer body-based practices to clients who are struggling with trauma, as well as tips about recognizing trauma, responding to it skilfully with your Supervisees, and actively avoiding re-traumatization in your work.    MORE INFORMATION
