Fredericksburg EDA now taking grant applications

Fredericksburg's Economic Development Authority (EDA) this week started taking applications from City of Fredericksburg (22401) small businesses for grants to help weather the storm of the COVID-19 outbreak. The application deadline is Friday.

‘Operation Tulip Drop’ coming to downtown FXBG

Tulip EventBloomia is donating 350,000 stems of tulips for distribution downtown to add some “flower power” and cheer up our community in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. With the help of Fredericksburg Virginia Main Street Inc. and the City of Fredericksburg, tulips will be distributed from area restaurants and shops that are doing carry-out business, and from two pickup locations downtown.
