In this episode, Bill talks with Michelle Hamilton, Mary Washington House manager, about the significance of the pink ribbons tied to the white picket fence in front of the Mary Washington House in Fredericksburg. Mary Washington House is part of the Washington Heritage Museums, and in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month is providing free ribbons that you can tie on the fence to show support for cancer survivors and victims. Free pink ribbons are also available at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, 706 Caroline St. in Downtown Fredericksburg.  For more information and tickets to the Washington Heritage Museums go to washingtonheritagemuseums.org.  For more information about what to do in Fredericksburg, visit VisitFred.com.
