Mission & Logo Update
We are putting together a small team to review the BAG mission statement and wording and propose changes if needed. We will also have a new logo contest in January, open to all BAG members. We will select a favorite to put on our website, social media, t-shirts, and totebags. Cathy Carpenter Patton has volunteered to chair this team, but we need more volunteers to review the mission and provide feedback. Please let Cathy or Kim know if you would like to join this team.
January 2022 Membership Renewals
It's time to renew your BAG membership. One year of membership is $30 and includes your entire household. You can renew online and pay your dues via PayPal, or you can bring your $30 check to the January meeting and hand it to Bev or Kim T. It is important to renew your membership dues in January because we will distribute the 2022 updated Member Directory in February. In order for the directory to be complete, we need dues submitted in January.
January Meeting Theme
Go with Graphite: do a graphite, pencil, or charcoal drawing and bring it to share at the January meeting.

Year in Review
Compared to 2020, BAG had a lot of activity in 2021. For the first half of the year, we met via online meetings with a monthly art theme and online art sharing. We exhibited member artwork at iPie and at the Broomfield Community Center in the spring and fall. In the summer, we met for plein air painting and pub sketching, and many of us participated in the North Metro Artists Studio Tour, co-sponsored by Paletteers Art Club and Broomfield Art Guild. In the fall we started in-person meetings, presented our beautiful Member Art Show at the College Hill Library in Westminster in October, and finished the year with a fun Christmas Party catered by iPie Pizza.
We are looking forward to a great year in 2022, continuing these activities and adding demos and workshops to each of our monthly meetings, plus adding new artwork exhibits at the Broomfield Library. Whether you are a returning member or new to BAG, we invite you to join us and actively participate in our 2022 program!

BAG Art Exhibitions
iPie Pizza exhibit space is hosting pieces by guild members. December and January are currently available if you would like to display some art in this space. Contact Margretta Perry or sign up online.
In March, we have member artwork on display in the upstairs gallery at the Broomfield Community Center. We alternate showing in this space with the Broomfield Photo Club, so there will be an opportunity to sign up here in 2022.
We will also be showing art starting in January at the Broomfield Library. Stay tuned for more information.
For more information on exhibitions or to sign up, or for more information, go to our website tab Public Art Displays.

Join BAG
We welcome artists age 18 and older working in all media. BAG is a wonderful venue for fun-loving, creative people who are also eager to share and to learn! A membership in the Broomfield Art Guild allows artists to participate in monthly meetings and art demonstrations, and members in good standing are eligible to participate in scheduled art shows including monthly rotating exhibits and annual fine art shows. As a member of the Broomfield Art Guild, artists also receive a discount on workshops at the Louisville Art Association. One year of membership is $30 and includes your entire household. You can join online and pay your dues via PayPal, or you can bring your $30 check and application form to the next meeting and hand it to Bev or Kim T.
