"It is a grand thing to be able to visit the British Isles, the places where Celtic Christian Spirituality developed and continues to flow down through the centuries to us today."
~ Georgia Sanders, Founder, Culture Honey Touring

"The Celtic tradition can assist us in reawakening to the sacred in ways that will inspire and sustain our journey forward." ~ John Philip Newell, Sacred Earth Sacred Soul

Spring 2022

Would you like to learn more about Celtic Christian Spirituality?  Are your curious about the experience of a Culture Honey Touring Sacred Ireland pilgrimage?  Are you drawn to visit the British Isles, where historically the streams of Christianity uniquely developed into an intertwined faith relationship between creation and Creator? And finally, are you interested in how these things can be understood and woven into a strengthening and grounding faith practice today?

A window into a tantalizing journey is being offered to you - both in terms of actually joining a Sacred Ireland or Iona, Scotland pilgrimage in the Fall of 2022, but also via photos, videos and quotes on Instagram and Facebook throughout the coming month, moving forward now and into this Spring, 2022!

Culture Honey Touring founder, Georgia Sanders, will live-post daily as she leads a small group through key sacred sites in Ireland and then onto the holy island of Iona, Scotland, where seekers of all backgrounds have been traveling for centuries. Also included will be contextual insight into areas of Ireland, Scotland, and England that surround these special places, and examples of what the culture there is like today. The live posts are an invitation to join in an outward journey of beauty and learning as well as an inward journey of developing awareness and practice - to walk in the humility and wonder of a pilgrim following the Celtic Way.

Simultaneously delicate and hardy - lavender flowers on a bed of green find a home within the aging rocks of the Dun Laoghaire harbour ...

"The Father created the world by a miracle;
it is difficult to express its measure.
Letters cannot contain it, letters cannot
comprehend it."

~ Esther De Waal, The Celtic Way of Prayer

About Culture Honey Touring

Culture Honey Touring is an outgrowth of our online travel and culture magazine, There we seek to offer insight into global and cultural exploration, thinking, and experience. Our approach to travel and culture is the same: a holistic view with a humanitarian heart and an eye toward justice. Our mission with the magazine and with Culture Honey Touring is to underscore and celebrate the sweetness and abundance that Life is offering!

Our tours and pilgrimages will never have more than 12 guests, no flags to follow or matching tee-shirts to don. All of our pilgrimages and tours are planned with expert Historians (Masters +) and experts in the field of focus. While you will make your own airline arrangements to the beginning destination, en country transportation costs are included, as well as entrance fees, en country experts and many of our meals. Our holistic philosophy of honoring culture will be our guide on all the adventures we offer.

Our footprint will be small, but our hearts will be open!

About Celtic Way Pilgrimages

At Culture Honey, we have discovered a deeply fulfilling spiritual thread of the Christian faith originating in Celtic Ireland and Scotland.  We have written many articles which are published on about travel to these lovely countries and the benefits of the Celtic pathway to the modern, spiritual, and holistic human experience. Our favorite influences are David Whyte, John Philip Newell, Mirabai Starrand Richard Rohr to name a few! We have experienced the beauty in these serene and sometimes rugged destinations and we have known the peace that the spiritual practices of liturgy, silence and meditation offer us. We have enjoyed and benefited greatly from learning the historical stories and significance of the places we plan to visit. Now it is our great joy to offer to share these things with you!
