What started out as a budding friendship sharing their industry secrets to success and joining forces to be of aid to their community during a time of devastation, has since blossomed into a collaborative interior design powerhouse. Stacked with the best design talent in Southwest Florida and beyond, the DBI family has grown twice its size after recently adding the coveted Freestyle Interiors to its portfolio of businesses.  

Change can make anyone uneasy, but when the news was announced at the top of the year a wave of peace flowed between the two teams. Doubling the design team from 12 to 24, and overall staff to 45, their collective team brings a fresh perspective to the industry, with members from Brazil, Thailand, Canada, Scotland, Georgia, Kuwait, and Syria. Seasoned with experienced and mature designers, Dwayne shares with Business of Home, “Our culture within our firm is about everyone wanting to get along and to get their job done”. The energy amongst the two teams has proved to produce a collaborative and low-drama work environment, further enabling creativity to flourish.
