The IUCN Primate Specialist Group (PSG), Section on Small Apes (SSA) has joined the Species360 research partner program, and will use ZIMS data to help those protecting and caring for gibbons. This is one of the many ways that zoos and aquariums, often through the collective work of partner associations such as WAZA, ZAA-Australasia, EAZA, and AZA, provide data essential to saving species.
