Dear Green Neighbours
The city budget is being decided soon - now is the time to let council know where to prioritize city funds.  ClimateFast is offering training tomorrow (Wednesday, January 19) for those who would like to depute to council.  The astounding number who wrote and presented in the fall made a difference with the adoption of Net Zero measures - we can do it again to ensure a climate focused budget. Deputations will take place on Monday January 24 and Tuesday January 25.

From Lyn Adamson at ClimateFast:
"This is our next opportunity to stand up and speak out for the future we want for our city.  You are all welcome to attend!  It's really important to ensure councillors know that their constituents care - that it's not just plans on paper - it's dollar commitment to the projects and the staffing we need.  Hope  you can join us!"
