We would like to send a special thank you to everyone who attended our first-ever virtual AGM. We had a great time discussing and sharing our favorite moments of 2019 with our members. We shared our strategic plan, which is currently being implemented and will be in the works for the next 5 years. Are you interested in learning more about it? We will have details coming to our website and copies available at our front desk very soon!

We are excited to announce the grand opening of our brand new infant and toddler programs at 100 Galloway Road. ESBGC Licensed Child Care Services is now serving children from birth to twelve years of age. The program opened on September 8^th and registration is still available. We are maintaining enhanced health and sanitation measures that encourage everyone’s wellbeing. Please contact the site supervisor for any additional questions! MORE INFORMATION HERE

RAISE THE GRADE

Registration is now open for Raise the Grade (RTG). This is an innovative, community-based, multi-faceted educational program that aims to increase academic skills, high school graduation rates, access to post-secondary education and training for youth. The program recognizes the variety of barriers that youth face as they navigate through the educational system. They offer academic and post-secondary support, career discovery, and opportunities to use technology and quality online resources in a supportive environment. The program focuses on building resiliency and confidence as students transition from grade 7 to post-secondary education and training.

Let's Explore Nature
Let's Explore Nature is a fun and interactive program for children 18 months to 6 years old and their parents/caregivers. Second Harvest is celebrating the end of their fiscal year! It has been a busy and rewarding period for Second Harvest and they shared with us the impact we have made by using their services and rescuing food!

From September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020, Second Harvest has delivered 8,995.00 pounds of food to East Scarborough Boys and Girls Club and Corvette EarlyON Child and Family Centre, a donation valued at $25,815.65.
