Come learn about the “how” and “what” of conducting action research in language classes! Panelists will share general guidelines, important considerations, and project ideas. Examples will be specific to K-12 classrooms, but the information will be applicable to different instructional contexts.

March 9: Webinar on backwards planning for task-based instruction

The focus of this webinar is to identify key aspects of instruction that prepare students to meet the communicative demands of the final task. Participants will learn about the essential role of task evaluation criteria, the nature and rationale of pedagogic tasks as well as of other instructional resources in supporting final task accomplishment. Examples of pedagogic tasks and other activities will be provided, and participants will learn the ways in which they support final task completion in a coherent and effective way.
