NONPROFIT SPOTLIGHT
MS Project Package
In 2001 Rickey Pope retired from the military. Three years later he started a nonprofit to provide a little bit of home to the troops overseas. Since that time, MS Project Package, which operates out of Corinth and Southaven, has sent thousands upon thousands of care packages to the men and women stationed on the other side of the world.
All year long MS Project Package collects donations of items from a wish list created by soldiers and money to pay shipping costs. On average 1,000 packages go out each month, and each one costs approximately $11 to mail.
For more information about this outstanding nonprofit, visit their website or their Facebook page. You can also contact Rickey Pope directly at 662-284-8108 or rickeypope@yahoo.com.
Thanks to Rickey and everyone at MS Project Package for supporting our troops overseas!
