More people around the world are learning and working remotely due to the coronavirus. Hadley has been doing this since 1920! Through our distance learning approach, Hadley learners access our knowledge and resources from the comfort and safety of their homes. And, because most Hadley learning experts work remotely they continue to provide assistance without missing a step.

This means Hadley will be there to help during this difficult time, and our learners can continue to access all of our programming, like our Instructional Videos, and connect with a community of peers through forums, such as Hadley’s Discussion Groups.

Hadley hosts future optometrists

Professor Parres Wright of Midwestern University in Lisle, IL, recognizes that optometrists need to help their patients with low vision adapt to their new reality. So, this February, she brought 70 optometry students to Hadley to learn about the myriad offerings we provide. While here, they also visited Hadley’s new virtual reality room where they could experience the world with several common types of vision impairment, including age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, in order to better understand life with low vision.
