Zoom Meeting Presentations from Full Member Applicants

At the February 19th semi-monthly Zoom meeting, two more labs who are applying to be full members (AU-LISA and LCWU-LISA) of the LISA 2020 Network gave presentations explaining the context, mission, and expected outcomes and impacts for their stat labs. Then participants of the Zoom call had an opportunity to offer advice and answer questions that the applicants had regarding starting a stat lab. This was one step in the final stages of the membership application process for these two labs.
Prof. Osama Hussien presented about AU-LISA, the lab he has started at Alexandria University in Egypt. Now that he has given this presentation, AU-LISA only has left to submit a full quarter of metrics and then the Network will vote on whether to accept AU-LISA as a full member lab.
Dr. Asifa Kamal presented about LCWU-LISA, the lab she has started at Lahore College for Women University in Pakistan. This was part of the final stages for LCWU-LISA's application for full membership and then the Network will vote on whether to accept LCWU-LISA as a full member lab.
