CALL FOR MURAL ARTISTS

* * * CASH PRIZES * * *

The Hart Project committee is excited to announce its first annual HartPrize Mural Contest!  The committee is now accepting design submissions from artists interested in painting a 4-ft x 4-ft mural to be displayed on an exterior wall in Downtown Hart.

The purpose of this project is to promote local artists, encourage community involvement, and to beautify Hart with three murals that bring new life, authentic stories, and the arts to our growing community.

In addition to a cash prize for the 3 selected artists, a plaque will be placed next to the mural and each artist will be promoted on our social media channels, e-newsletter and press releases.  Limited Edition prints will be sold with proceeds going to The Hart Project.

HOW IT WORKS

A selection committee will choose three mural designs from the submissions received.   Artists will be notified/announced, murals will be displayed downtown, and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite mural for a period of 30 days.  First place will be awarded $750, $500 for second place and $250 for third place plus $75 for supplies, based on the results of a 30-day public vote.
