Autumn Update from PCEP!

Dear All,

Welcome back!

I hope you are all rested and rejuvenated after the Summer. PCEP has a busy Autumn ahead; moving forward on our 2030 Roadmap, establishing concrete actions for 2020, contributing to the EU’s Circular Plastics Alliance and we’re looking forward to our first AGM in November.

It’s wonderful to see so many organisations engaging with PCEP and contributing to our collective mission to advance the circular polyolefin economy. We’d like to be sure that you are getting the most out of your membership. Please take a moment to update your preferences and tell us which working groups you would like to receive information about. Remind your colleagues to do so too!

Check the PCEP 2030 Roadmap for an overview of what each Working Group is looking at. As you’ll see below, all of the working groups are meeting up in September. This is the perfect time to get engaged. Come along, share your ‘barriers to circularity’ and help us deliver solutions that overcome them.

Circular Plastics Alliance
In July, PCEP informed the European Commission of our intention to sign the Circular Plastics Alliance declaration, and continue to be an active player in this group which brings together the broader plastics industry with legislators and civil society to drive Europe forwards towards a circular economy.

As a PCEP member you are welcome to join the launch event in Brussels on 20 September. All information and the event registration form can be found here:

You can also find our PCEP pledge to increase the use of recycled polyolefins available on the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform here:
