As regional coordinators for Europe and the Middle East, Tatmans travel extensively throughout the region, working in collaboration with national leaders to develop regional ministry strategies and country-specific strategies, cultivating relationships within the Church of God across Europe and the Middle East, connecting the church across the region. Nate and Stacy have a particular passion for church planting and church health. They also oversee projects and missionaries in the region, providing pastoral care and supervision.

Family Update

  • Residency Cards
    • After months of filling out paperwork and waiting for a response, we are FINALLY residents of Spain! We received a sooner-than-expected email that our cards were ready to be picked up and were relieved to have our residency cards in-hand.
    • These cards will allow us to get a bank account, set up utilities in our name, get driver’s licenses and car insurance, and easily make purchases in local stores.
    • Even though we have to go through the renewal process next year, we are so relieved that this is finished!
  • On the Road…again.
    • The end of June brought the 90-day mark of our life in Spain and then immediately after, the beginning of a 6-week trip back to the USA. We attended the biennial Church of God Convention in Denver, as well as bi-annual meetings for regional coordinators in Bellingham, Washington.
    • In addition, Daleska was able to participate with the County Line Student Ministry Summer Mission’s Trip and Emily was happy to hang out with her grandparents and friends from school.

Ministry Update

  • On June 1, we officially took over as Global Strategy’s regional coordinators for Europe and the Middle East. As we have expressed in previous newsletters, we are so grateful for the work of Patrick and Jamie Nachtigall. We are excited to continue building upon the healthy foundation they have laid.
  • After cancelling our 3W Team staff meeting last year, our team was so excited to be together this year. Each year, we meet in different cities around the region to hear family and ministry updates, participate in training, and celebrate the great things happening throughout our region. It was incredibly encouraging to hear about what God has done during this time in each of the countries we serve.
  • This year we met in Badenweiler, Germany. In addition to the usual updates and training, the team was able to celebrate the impact of Patrick and Jamie’s ministry, host a reception for Marco Nachtigall’s high school graduation, and then help the three of them pack up and move the last of their furniture and belongings. This was a special time for all of us!

Around the Region

  • On our way home from our team meetings in Badenweiler, we were able to visit with Samir and Joanna Salibi (At Home, Paris). Samir, Joanna, and their two sons welcomed a daughter, Thia, to their family this past April. We were able to have a backyard barbecue and catch up on all that has happened in the last year and a half in life and ministry.
  • Join us in celebrating four baptisms that took place with the Church of God in Arco, Italy. Teammates Alejandro and Carmen de Francisco (Madrid, Spain) were able to join Marcos and Katherine Lovaglio (Arco, Italy) for this beautiful celebration.
  • We visited one of our newest churches, En Mi Lugar – Olot, Spain, in May. While the church has been meeting for a while, we were not able to visit due to travel restrictions related to COVID. Pastor Roman and Daiand are doing a fantastic job in leading the church.

Please pray for...

  • Those effected by recent, extensive flooding in western Europe, the many lives that have been lost, and the time, effort and resources it will take to rebuild.
  • The church in the Middle East as one of its lay leaders is experiencing persecution for his faith. Please pray for the church, this leader, the family, and for the entire situation.
  • Safe travels as we fly home to Spain on Tuesday, July 27.
  • Opportunities to meet neighbors and establish friendships with people in our neighborhood and city.
We are so thankful for your encouragement and faithfulness in walking alongside our family as we walk alongside the Church of God in Europe and the Middle East!
Many blessings,
Nate, Stacy and Family
