QCAIR invites you to attend our annual Citizenship Honors Dinner!

Please join us for an Open House at our new offices Saturday Nov 6th at 5pm followed at 5:30 by our Citizenship Honors Dinner @the Spotlight Event Center.

Covid precautions will be followed: social distancing, masks worn except while seated/eating, and food servers will portion dinner items for attendees.

We will have 4 speakers sharing details about their citizenship journeys. They are from Togo, Cuba, Belarus and China.

QCAIR staff went to Sterling IL this week to process applications for assistance for the Immigrant Family Support Project, which is available to immigrants who reside in Illinois. We discovered a great need for assistance in that area so we will be returning on Nov 8th to partner with the Sauk Valley YWCA for another event. If you know of immigrants who live in Illinois who might qualify for this program please have them contact Amy: adehaven@qcair.org or call our office (563) 594-0854 to see if they are eligible to apply.

QCAIR is seeking volunteers who might be able to translate (via speaker phone or 3 way calls) for clients who come to the office and do not speak English.
