We are excited to announce QCAIR received a grant from the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights to be part of their Immigrant Family Resource Program (IFRP) with the Illinois Department of Human Services.
The IFRP grant will enable QCAIR to assist with applications to the State of Illinois for SNAP, Medicare/ Medicaid, WIC, SEAP, and other programs. Assistance includes navigating online applications, translating documents, and providing interpretation services.
We will promote this new program by reaching out to partner organizations, talking to people at local events, and holding informational workshops. Please feel free to share the IFRP flyer (in English, Spanish, and Arabic - French is coming soon) or our FaceBook post within your networks. The flyer includes information about arranging an appointment and what documents will be needed for assistance. Please let us know if you would like QCAIR to present about IFRP for your organization.
