On this Thanksgiving, there are so many things I am grateful for…
I’m extremely grateful for our wonderful team members, Harry Zheng, Jay Erbe (my life/business partner), Martina Rexrode, and Denise Badua. Each of you are equally responsible for our success. Thank you for the joy and accomplishments you bring to our partnership!
I also thank each of our KW family and business partners for the support, encouragement, and friendship so many of you have provided. I would be remiss not to mention my incredible mentor Danny “Tags” Taglienti who has helped me grow and thrive in this crazy business.
I’d especially like to thank our clients. Our team’s mantra is relationship building and it has been a true pleasure working with each of you in maintaining our many friendships.
And finally…
This is our family's first Thanksgiving without our wonderful mom. She was the most fantastic role model imaginable. A painter, gardener, and athlete, she promoted equal rights, racial equality and so many of the standards that each of us have embraced and passed along to our children. Many of my friends have heard this story, but one of her many feats was riding her bicycle at the age of 70 through the July heat from North Carolina to Washington, DC to raise money and awareness for the AIDS pandemic. She wound up in the hospital the first day with heatstroke but was treated and off she went to rejoin the group to camp overnight. I’ll never forget her arrival at the Washington Monument, walking down the mall with her bike raised over her head with great pride. I also fondly remember the many times she had us kids and our friends make sandwiches and treats for the homeless as we participated in Bea Gaddy’s Annual Thanksgiving for the Homeless drive. She taught us what is truly important in life… giving back.

I am grateful that Sandra really appreciates what I do and still remembers me from my previous work with her and the team during the Keller Williams fundraiser for Ukraine.
