Hello there,
so lovely to see you all again

Spring has definitely sprung, today whilst writing this I have full sunshine in the garden making everything look just great.
Happy Friday...
isn't it fabulous to have a little normality back in our lives.
This edition of Reflexology Review is an update about my future and some amazing new beginnings.  There is a lot of information in here so grab yourself a cuppa, relax, smile and absorb.

I am going to be sharing with you news about what I have been up to and the changes that are going to be happening.

Nightingale Therapy will be continuing so do not panic!
Staying positive and not giving up was certainly my mantra recently.

Lets look forward to a simple recipe of SELF CARE
  • an ounce of fresh air
  • a spoonful of creativity
  • sprinklings of kindness
  • a few sprigs of listening
  • a shake of support
  • a huge dollop of self love
Gratitude - We have all, I think, realised that we do not need the dreams of a  big house or a swish car anymore, we just need friends and family in our lives.  I am grateful for this more than I ever thought I would be.

Personal Walking Challenge
Some of you will know I have, since 23rd November, been walking from Lands End to John O Groats on a virtual walk.  Last weekend, I completed my End to End walking challenge!!  Last Saturday to complete within the intentions I set myself, I walked over 13.5 miles! It took me 145 days to complete the biggest walking challenge I had ever undertaken!

I had a year to complete this, but, as usual, I decided to put a few personal intentions into the mix!
  • Finish within 6 months. If possible by Easter Monday or my grandparents April birth dates ~  I achieved this in 5 months and just before, both of their would have been birthdays!
  • Finish in the top 10% of the 2890 participants ~ I finished 275th
I thought this would be hard, but didn’t realise the commitment I had signed up to and put on myself. You would have thought this would be helpful during Lockdown, but I injured my foot and kept getting cramps in my legs after a mile!  Blisters, well, I can assure you I’ve taken shares out in Compeed and had blisters on top of blisters!  All this is without bringing into the equation wind, rain, snow and a reaction to my COVID vaccination.

Oh and I have worn out a pair of trainers and now my walking boots are looking a little over used!

You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it, plan it out, stick to the plan and you will succeed.
Over the past 12 months I have been able to have a hard look at myself, Nightingale Therapy and Sole to Soul Sanctuary.

For example,
  • What therapies I enjoy giving,
  • Am I happy with Nightingale Therapy,
  • Am I making the most of the opportunities that I have,
  • Am I liking myself,
  • Do I need to evolve.
I was quite shocked with the answers that I came up with!

Nightingale Therapy has been my dream job since qualifying in 2005.  I love being a reflexologist, caring for others and helping them.  After 15 year I realised I needed more.

In December, I quietly set up Katie Page Reflexology and a new Group for Reflexologists called "Finding my Feet". Here, I help other Reflexologists with the business side of being a Reflexologist.  As a former student, I feel that there is not enough business content in our course, in fact, I feel the content was limited.  I am currently using my contacts, connecting with Reflexologists, and, growing a new audience to be able to help them create sturdier footings in the holistic business world.

This new footstep will not detract from my Nightingale Therapy work but I felt I ought be tell you all about it as I promote openness and honesty in my business life.
Welcome to the EQUINOX BOX.  This is the other reality that will be hitting social media in the next few weeks.

As a Reflexologist, I have realised that it is our feet that are usually the last on the list when it comes to self care.  The one exception being summer when we book in for pedicures galore!

I am taking footsteps into the world of quarterly subscription boxes, that promote all thing "feet".   There will be a limited number of Equinox Boxes and the magic number is 25.

Why Equinox? With each new season your needs for your feet will change, scrubs for Spring & Summer, balms for the Autumn & Winter, cosy socks for Winter etc. The one theme with every Equinox Box will be to LOVE your feet.

The products that I will be sourcing for the Equinox Box will be foot creams, scrubs and or balms.  Also, a product to wear, for example, bamboo socks.  A mindset seasonal journal, foot cards and a useful foot shaped item or reminder of how wonderful you are will be included.

I am enjoying sourcing these products and the best bit is, sampling them all.  The negotiator in me is returning too, from a job of nearly 20 years ago.

Each item in the box will be individually wrapped. It will be like your birthday every 3 months, unwrapping presents inside the Equinox Box.

Equinox Boxes are for the Feet and Mind, I will be launching them in May for shipment in June.  I can’t wait to share this exciting new project with you all.

We have weathered a year of personal storms.  Its time to bloom, grow and strengthen the footings of new beginnings.  I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Lots of new personal changes for me to work with however, my priorities, for the foreseeable future ladies, and a few gents, are my Reflexology clients.

Love always
