We here at the General Assembly had a busy week! Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the Inauguration of a new President didn't stop us from passing legislation. We spent lots of time in committee and subcommittee meetings, where we decided whether legislation would advance to the floor to be heard and voted on by the full House.
My bill HB2046, which prevents discrimination in land-use decisions, passed in the Housing and Consumer Protections subcommittee on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, HB2050 to create a low-income housing tax credit was tabled in committee, but I will keep fighting for its passage.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to my office at email@example.com if we can be of any assistance or if you would like to share your legislative priorities. You can also sign up to meet with me and my team at the link below.
Have a great weekend!
