Community Conversation with Waco PD
We are pleased to share that this month, Waco PD's Chief Victorian will be participating in a community conversation with Waco's LGBTQIA+ community.
Join us on September 27th at Metropolitan Community Church from 7:00-8:30 for this important dialogue.

In times such as these, one of the most important things we can do is share information on how to remain safe. Below find some words from our friends at Equality Texas on just that
As students return to school in this heightened political climate we’ve already received reports of several school districts pursuing anti-LGBTQ+ policies, including dismantling GSAs, introducing discriminatory bathroom policies, or spreading renewed misinformation about the Governor’s directive to the Department of Family Protective Services. Our ask of y’all: please let us, the ACLU of Texas, and Lambda Legal know if you hear about any of these incidents. The extra eyes and ears are incredibly helpful in helping us combat this misinformation.

Parent Support Group
Many parents don’t know what to do when their child comes out to them at any age. This is a group of parents who have LGBTQ children that want to learn how to support, respect, and understand their children better. Waco Youth Pride Alliance
The Waco Youth Pride Alliance was created and led by youth in the Waco Community to increase our community's visibility, support, and understanding of LGBTQ youth. oin the WYPA Discord server or follow them on Instagram, @waco_youth_pride_alliance to stay updated on activities and events.
Waco Pride TNG (The Next Generation)
This is Waco Pride Network’s group for The Next Generation. Anyone 18-24 who identifies as LGBTQ+ or allies is invited to join us as we build our community in Waco together.
