The Waco Pride Network is planning to recognize Transgender Day of Visibility (which was yesterday) by gathering trans and trans-affirming voices from around Waco to speak to the Waco City Council on April 5. At the end of every City Council meeting, there is a time set aside for the council to hear from members of the public. This is a great opportunity for us to share the struggles, successes, and support of our community with our elected representatives. You don't have to speak. Come join us in the audience.
Please feel free to reach out to communication@wacopride.org with any questions you may have. Check out our instagram highlights for helpful tips on showing up and speaking out.
Share far and wide.
