Test to Stay Program

This week we are again participating in the COVID-19 Test to Stay program, approved by the WA Dept. of Health. All tests that were given on Monday were negative, praise the Lord!

This program allows your student to stay in school if they have been exposed to COVID-19 in the classroom because they will be tested on Day 1, Day 4, and Day 7 after exposure. (This does not include students who have been exposed outside of school.) This modified quarantine allows them to come to school, but they MUST still quarantine outside of school. If exposed your child cannot attend after-school programs. If you have not signed the permission slip for the Test to Stay program, please pick up a form at the school office.

Mt. Baker Ski Program Interest Survey

I sent out an email on Monday (grades 5-12) about the potential of a Mt. Baker Ski Pgoram in Jan or Feb. If your child is interested in this program can you please fill out the simple survey? It'll only take a minute of your time:

MAP Growth Testing Begins

Yesterday, teachers started our MAP growth testing. I want to remind you to have your kids get a good night's sleep and a filling, healthy breakfast. Our older students need to remember their Chromebooks and their chargers.

MAP Growth is the most trusted and innovative assessment for measuring achievement and growth in K–12 math, reading, language usage, and science. Learn more here: https://www.nwea.org/map-growth/.

Uniform Guidelines

A reminder that uniform bottoms are required. Approved bottoms are uniform-style pants, shorts, shirts, or jumpers. Leggings are NOT uniform approved

Label your outerwear! We're getting quite a collection of jackets outside the front office on the railing. If your student is missing a coat, encourage them to look at the ones hanging on our rail. Please label your coats.

You can even give on our website www.skagitadventist.com, look for the PayPal button on every page.
