  • Sky Lumen has begun offering parts for DIY builds of his mule P60 drop ins.  These are called the LilV, and both mcpcb and shell are available.
  • Frelux has begun teasing info on the Synergy 2.0, which includes a physical lockout feature on the rotating dial switch.
  • Speaking of the Synergy 2.0, there's another update.  This time about the redesigned clip!
  • Grant Spitz of Deadwood Custom Works officially discontinued the Tombstone 1.0, and immediately replaced it with the Tombstone 3.0.  This includes a design change incorporating multiple material breaks.  
  • Instragram has the first mention of Lumintop GT3, a triple Cree XHP70.2 LED flashlight, boasting over 20K lumens and powered by 4 18650.
  • Nextorch releases the GT-AAA Aurora, which combines 3 light sources to realize 7 lighting modes.  At 1oz, it's very carryable!
  • Olight announces a new color option for the MR2 pro. Now available in OD Green!
  • BLF Mini Lantern is in the prototype stage.  With the popularity of the LT1, a smaller more carryable version is likely to be hugely popular!
  • Trusted battery reviewer HKJ tested a pair of Samsung INR18650-25R he bought off ebay and found them to be counterfeit. Always buy your Li-Ion cells from trusted vendors like
