Infectious Diseases Center
Infection Prevention and Control Foundation in collaboration with Chiraghdin Foundation has established Chiraghdin Community Health Center Sialkot to provide free medical treatment, patient education, and counseling on various infectious and communicable diseases. For this purpose, IPAC Foundation has partnered up with the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Departments of Punjab, to share the burden of infectious ailments. The center offers all the services free of cost to the patients against multiple infectious and communicable diseases.
Dr. Muhammad Aslam Chaudhary (Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority, Sialkot) joined the ceremony as the Chief Guest. IPAC Foundation’s board of trustees and other noted personalities from the Government, NGOs, and media joined the ceremony as Guests of Honor.

Community Health Programs
IPAC Foundation has taken up the challenge of alleviating common infectious diseases like Hepatitis (B & C), HIV, Malaria, Dengue, and Tuberculosis from Pakistan. The Community Health Program engages volunteers from VFAHT to carry out the camps.
We organized 5 Hepatitis B & C | Screening and Vaccination camps from October - December 2021 in order to educate, screen, and vaccinate people against Hepatitis B & C. Total 1130 people were screened, and 934 were vaccinated for Hepatitis B through these camps. The camps were held at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Amna Inayat Medical College, Sheikh Zayed Medical College, FMH College of Medical and Dentistry, and Sector M, DHA, Phase 6 Lahore.

Public Awareness and Outreach Program
Public Awareness and Outreach Program is based upon the capacity-building training of youth and to guide the general public about the importance of preventive health care. The sole purpose of this program is to strengthen the bond between prevention-based health care and the general public This program educates and aware people of the importance of prevention from infectious and communicable diseases, and to best utilize the capabilities of youth to help with the cause. Creating awareness is vital in order to eradicate infectious diseases.
There were numerous outreach activities conducted by VFAHT volunteers through the months of October to December. A total of 16 activities, including 3 activities on Rabies Awareness, 2 activities on Patient Safety, 2 activities on awareness about Infection Prevention, 5 activities on dengue, 3 activities on handwashing, and 1 activity on HIV took place.
Telehealth Infectious Diseases Clinic envisioned by IPAC Foundation is efficiently providing free medical services online in Punjab. The clinic uses digital means to secure patients’ information and confidentiality. Telehealth Infectious Diseases Clinic ensures that advanced quality and free medical services are readily available for everyone. People are gradually getting acquainted with the idea of an online platform, which is always available to provide medical consultation. Telehealth Clinic has proven to be very helpful especially during the time of the pandemic.

Chairman's Visit to IPAC Head Office
M. Sameer Shafi MD, (Chairman Board of Trustees, Infection Prevention and Control Foundation) visited the Infection Prevention and Control Foundation Head Office in October 2021. IPAC Foundation’s monthly meeting was conducted at IPAC Head Office, the progress and strategies related to ongoing and upcoming projects were discussed.
