Amida Mosaic Psychotherapy

Dear friends,

So much has changed in our world since I last contacted you and I am excited to share some news. 

As a result of Covid-19 and after careful consideration, Amida Mosaic has now changed to Amida Mosaic Psychotherapy, with a renewed focus on individual psychotherapy. This change is in keeping with the spirit of the work we have done in the past, and a response to the current situation.  

Amida Mosaic Psychotherapy will be specializing in serving those who are experiencing transitions and loss. Areas of care include:  grief and bereavement, complicated grief, health concerns, chronic or life limiting illness, and challenges due to aging, caregiving, work, and relationships. For those who remain interested in the integration of spirituality and psychology or psychotherapy from a Buddhist psychology lens, I assure you that this remains an important part of my work.

For those who wish to begin or continue Working with Dreams, James Schmeiser will continue to offer his workshops online beginning this September. These workshops fill quickly so please go to the Programs page to learn more. Contact James directly to register.

On an exciting note, I wish to welcome Marisa Kanas to the Amida Mosaic Psychotherapy practice. Marisa is a fellow registered psychotherapist (qualifying) whom I worked with at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, ON.  She recently completed her psychotherapy training and is eager to work with new clients.
