The median weekly growth for Wake County ZIP codes compared to their totals dropped to 0.7%, the lowest point yet. Last week it was 1.1%.

The rate of confirmed cases in Wake County dropped again in the last week to 128 cases per 100,000 people from 161/100,000 people. This rate is a rolling 14-day average.

The percent of tests that are positive in Wake County is at goal level for the third week in a row. 

This week the rolling 14-day average in Wake County is 4.1%, down from 4.7%. The statewide percentage is at 3.3%. The goal is 5% or less.

Hospitalizations are also down. In the region that includes Wake County, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston and Lee counties, 54 people are hospitalized as of Thursday, down from 72 last Thursday.

Congregate living facilities in Wake County: 12, with one new outbreak.

Clusters in Wake County at K-12 or childcare settings: 7, while neighboring Durham and Orange counties have none and Mecklenburg County has 3. [continue reading]
