Here’s what’s happening now:

Four Wake County library locations have re-opened their doors for express service: Southeast RaleighEast Regional in KnightdaleNortheast Regional in North Raleigh and Eva Perry in Apex.

Temperature checks are required for entry and the library locations will limit capacity. The Knightdale and Southeast Raleigh locations allow library computer use for 30 minutes at a time, the North Raleigh and Apex locations are not yet allowing public computer use.

Other sites continue to offer Books On the Go, and there are virtual programs such as pre-recorded storytimes for kids, Storytime Anytime.

Talk about Play with Living Room Lecturettes and Dix Conservancy: Living Room Lecturettes, if you're unfamiliar, hosts an "unconventional presentation series" with 3-minute-long talks from community members. The collaboration event with the nonprofit partner of Dix Park has a few presentation spots left to snag for Sunday afternoon's virtual event on Zoom.

Triangle Pop-Up will (also) have a storefront in Downtown Raleigh, opening Nov. 18, to shop curated local maker items at a brick and mortar. This will be in addition to their pop-up markets around town. More info to come.

Sign up for a call from Santa: Raleigh Parks is coordinating with the North Pole for calls from Santa to kids ages 2-10. For a $5 fee, you can schedule a call during times on Dec. 8, 10, 15 or 17.
