COVID-19 case growth hit a new low in Wake County: The median weekly growth for Wake County ZIP codes compared to their totals dropped to 0.4%, the lowest point yet. The previous week’s growth was 0.7%.

The rate of confirmed cases in Wake County dropped again in the last week to 80 cases per 100,000 people from 128/100,000 people two weeks ago. This rate is a rolling 14-day average.

The percent of tests that are positive in Wake County is at goal level for the fifth week in a row. This week the rolling 14-day average in Wake County is at 3%, down from 4.1% two weeks ago. The statewide percentage is at 2.9%. The goal is 5% or less.
